Quake Addicts
This site is for the Quake addict in all of us. Quake, Quake II, Quake III, Quake IV and now QuakeZero. We are all id fans, so anything id goes. It's not a clan site, it's a site for us addicts to get together and post our thoughts and ideas about the games. If you have a clan with no home, we can add a forum section for you. All comers welcome. You can add your screen caps of that high score game so you have a place to show your friends. So come on in, and join the group, post in the Forum, and don't forget, admitting your addicted, is half the problem.

CVG spoke with John Carmack about Quake Live!

Carmack discusses pro's and con's of Quake live and assures us, "We're in no way shutting down the original Q3A scene, so anybody who wants to build things with the open-source code is still more than free to do so. Quake live site goes live.
|
Finally, the QuakeLive site has content. They have a video that purports to show in-game footage with all the info about the latest incarnation of Quake. You can also click on the characters next to the video and they will change into another character. Looks like we're getting close to a release by the looks of the site. Fingers crossed!!

Quake Zero given a new name.

id has decided to call it QuakeLive. There are some write-ups at several different sites and a beta testing program you can sign up for at Quakelive.com I also found some screenshots at VoodooExtreme. Have a look and sign up for the beta program. If anyone gets into the beta program, I hope you come and update us all on the game and release date etc.
